Mary Godec

PhD Fellow

Mary holds a BA in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Food Science from Cornell University. As part of two collaborative international consortium teams, her research takes an informatics- and bioinformatics-based approach to predictive modeling, exploring factors that underlie the global emergence, transmission, and persistence of antimicrobial resistance, with the goal of developing platforms for collaborative, data-driven exploration of global resistance patterns. Currently, she focuses on WHO-identified high-priority organisms, linking information mined from genomic data to predictors of clinical resistance phenotype under the supervision of Constance Schultsz.
